There I was, at the project go-live party. Standing in a circle of client team members talking about where I would be off to next (hint: Charleston, WV was on the list). Just then the Partner in charge of the project walked up, shook my hand and asked what my name was. When I told him he said, "... I've heard good things about you, young man. If you ever want to get into consulting, just give me a call!" and walked away.
My client almost cried.
